We loved this very quiet CL, only us and one other caravan on a bank holiday weekend. It is so peaceful you barely hear anything other than the birds and maybe the horses and the views are amazing out over carmarthen bay to one side and the black mountains to the other. The pitches are sloping so you will need blocks, however there are a pile of breeze blocks close by if you don't have your own. The electric is now metered using £1 or £2 coins and we used just under £9 for 3 nights which I thought was quite reasonable, if you have more than a £1 left at the end of your stay it will be refunded. The toilets are basic but very clean. Anna and Trevor were on hand with a warm welcome when we arrived and had a lovely chat about the area and told us to try the food at their local pub The Waun Wyllt (open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and for sunday lunch) so we went on the Friday night and we were not disappointed, again a lovely warm welcome from all staff and the food was amazing. Thank you both for your hospitality, we will return.
