Sloping site

Visited in July. Not a bad site. Is on a grassy slope which could be a problem in the wet. There is a toilet and wash basin (cold water only) in a small outbuilding 150 yards away in the farmyard. Chemical toilet waste is via a lift up hatch in yard by the toilet. There is no means of rinsing the cassette, no tap nor water butt. Not a big problem, but a disabled caravanner was parked there right by his door. Not pleasant for him. £14 is top of the range for a pretty basic cl.

The toilet is not in the farmyard.  Also there is means of rinsing the cassette.  There is a tap close by for rinsing and the caravanner would have been told that if he had reported to the farmhouse.  It is a always a good idea to report to the house on arrival.  Sorry he was disappointed.

I was so disappointed when I read this review.  I just do not understand the 'muddy road' as there is a fully tarmacked road all the way to the site also, visitors are told where the toilet is on arrival and there is a clear sign on the door.  We are exactly .5m from the main road and 6 m. from Bath as stated in the CMHC details.frownfrown  Having clarified  this can I thank you for the positive part of the feedback.
