Excellent CL and great base

What a fabulous new CL! A warm welcome from the owners with information on a walk with great views. The site is new and still awaiting electricity when we visited (due to be switched on in August 2024). They told us about this when we enquired. Good hard standing (fairly level), water, grey and black waste disposal, recycling/rubbish facilities so everything you could need. Fabulous views and a quiet site and lots to do nearby. Llanberis is only a short distance away (Snowdon, Lake walk and railway, castle and slate mine). Zipworld (Velocity 2) is a short drive too which was our reason for the visit. Plenty of local walks from the site too. Highly recommend and would definitely use again.

Perfect location

Just back from a fantastic weekend at Cryngae. More welcoming and helpful hosts you couldn't wish for. Our hosts made it clear before we booked that the site remains unfinished with some landscaping required. However, we're completely self sufficient in our van so all we needed was the hardstanding pitch, which was perfect. Where this site excels is its superb location in Eryri (Snowdonia), not only having superb walks in the immediate vicinity, including the Glyderau range if you're particularly energetic, but the site is literally only a 4 minute walk to a Sherpa bus stop (S2 & S3), opening up pretty much the entire Eryri range, and without the hassles of parking! I'll be returning for sure, particularly as my hiking buddy dog is more than welcome, which can't be said of other campsites in this wonderful part of the world. Thanks again Ffion and Sion. Looking forward already to my next visit.
