Well maintained site with lovely views

We spent a couple of nights on this well maintained site on our way to Yorkshire up the M1. It was a convienient stopover with good access to places like Bolsover Castle and Hardwick Hall. The site had lovely rural views and all the pitches were hard standing, which is excellent for motorhomes. Each pitch had its own drinking water tap which was very useful. The site is generally quiet except for the passage of large farm machinery down the lane just behind the motorhome at 7am! I suppose this is par for the course in a farming community. This is a lovely site and our sole gripe really is that we had difficulty finding the owner to pay the fees before we left as he doesn't live in the adjacent bungalow. We did find him in the end though.
