Having never stayed on a CL before we were not sure what to expect. My Wife and I had an unexpected opportunity to get away for a few dys and so decided to go to the East coast, somewhere around Skegness. Unfortunately the week coincided with the school holidays, which meant that many of the sites we may have considered would have cost quite a lot and there would have been lot's of children about. Don't get me wrong I have no qualms about children being children but we just fancied a somewhat quieter surrounding to get over what has been a rather strenuous few months at work. So we finally decided on Corner Farm CL in Addlethorpe, just 4 miles from Skegness and only 2 miles from Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells. A quick response to our email saw us booked in and further instructions to "choose a pitch when you arrive" meant a really simple end to our journey. The site is wonderful, 5 flat hardstanding pitches, each with EHU and water. There were 3 other caravans pitched when we arrived.  We quickly got set up and explored the site. The toilet block is clean and provides everything you need. You could not ask for a more tranquil site, whose silence at night was only broken by the patter of rain on the Caravan roof! Our co-campers were polite and apart from a friendly hello in passing we heard nothing from them. On the site is a small tea room/ cafe who provided us with a very nice full english.  All in all we could not have picked a better site and I would wholeheartedly recommend this CL to anyone wanting to visit this neck of the woods, and amazing value to, all the above for just £15pn, we shall certainly be returning.
