A gem of a site

We stayed at this beautiful CL for 3 nights on 13th April as a trial run for our outings for this year, as we only live 45 mins away. We certainly weren't disappointed. Roger and Marjory were on holiday in their caravan and Sally, their daughter, was looking after the site. When we first got there we were struck with how beautifully manicured the lawns were and how neat, clean and tidy it was. There was a chalk board with our names on welcoming us, which was a first and a lovely touch. We straight away felt comfortable. The pitches are a really good size, a CL is definitely the way to go due to the space and fewer caravans, there were horses in an adjacent field. The signal for wifi is not good at all, you can purchase it through the Caravan Club if you want to. We didn't. A TV aerial lead is supplied which we used and also a hose pipe to couple your water to the caravan. Lovely touches. The pitches are metered which I was a bit concerned about however including the electricity our stay was £70.10 which was very reasonable. I don't blame Roger and Marjory for taking this stance at all especially with todays economics. We had a lovely stay and went to Blakeney, Sheringham, Holt and Blickling Hall which was lovely. We will definitely be back this year especially as it's so close and North Norfolk has so much to offer, something you don't generally take advantage of living here. One suggestion, it would be good if a viewing mirror could be looked at as it was a little awkward looking down the road when leaving, to view oncoming vehicles. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay and all your hard work in keeping the site so beautiful.
