This was our second visit to this CL our first being some 13yr's ago and thankfully nothing has changed since. Now that's a good thing as the reason for re-visiting this site was the peace and quiet it offers. Sited well back from the road all that you can hear are the resident farm animals and the wildlife and during the night you are assured a good nights sleep. The site slopes from top to bottom but there are plenty of areas to site your outfit level with the minimum of fuss. The shower and toilet facilities although basic (and cold) are adequate but we did tend to use our own shower more during the stay. The site is well located for the many delights of the North Norfolk coast including Wells and Hunstanton but the jewels in the crown are the smaller villages dotted in between not least our favorite Burnham Overy Staithe. At the time of our visit the local "Ostrich Inn" is undergoing a refit and didn't appear to have much to offer, so for eating out the " Jolly Farmers" at North Creake would be a better option. To sum up, if it's peace, tranquility and location you are after then this CL should be on your short list and at £12 per night pretty good value. Oh and by the way, the owners are very friendly and will stop by and have a chat without overstaying their welcome. We will be back and this time wont wait 13 years!
