Fantastic CL

The best CL we have ever been on well kept and maintained. Lovely touches like washing lines garden seats. Hard standings and the wash room and toilets ect should be rated ten star lots of TLC gone into this site and the owners are some of the nicest people we have met. We will be going back for sure.

Wonderful CL

Just back from 3 nights here, must be one of the best CL's around. Well laid out, top notch facilities, lovely owners and close to bus stop. May seem strange to mention, but the bespoke chemical disposal point (a thing of beauty were it serving another purpose) shows just how much thought and care the owners have put in to make this the wonderful site it is.

Wonderful location

We visited this site in July 14 and had a wonderful time, the access into the CL was easy, although the short road leading up to it was a bit tight if you meet someone else coming the other way. The toilet and shower were the best we've had from the CL's we've stayed at, we had a very warm welcome from the owner who made us aware of local attractions, the booklets, maps info etc available in the Information come dish washing/laundry area. She also made us aware of the fresh eggs they sell on site (which we purchased and thoroughly enjoyed). The pitches are spacious and flat and they allow you to park how you want (which meant my sister and I could park with awnings facing each other - just how we like). The main area of the pitch is hard standing with grass either side. There is a pub within walking distance and a few more a drive away, a large retail area is about 5 miles away as is Wisbech with all the normal shops. A lovely touch was the chairs jotted about in the trees and washing lines for people to use. This site is well worth the visit and we will be going back next year.

Best yet

just had 2 weeks in July on this site. very friendly and helpful owners. Welcome/info pack in laundry room for each pitch as well as mini lend library.Site ticked all our boxes, flat grass with h/standings, well laid out with small trees/bushes scattered about. well cut grass. Excellent amenities block with toilet, shower, laundry/potwash . cleanliness cant be faulted. separate toilet sluice point (indoor) and outdoor grey and drinking water points. gave 4 points as it is a working arable farm and there is some engine noise at the start of the working day but nothing to be concerned about. short access road via the house drive entrance. Caution, approach road from Guyhirn is Bumpy in places, as are many other roads in the fens due to minor subsidence. A rally relaxing stay was had by both. Would/will go again

One Of The Best

Have just spent three nights at this very well presented CL.We cannot find anything to complain about. Excellent facilities, all hardstanding well spaced pitches with ehu. Shower is a large wet room (with a mop hooray!!!) free use of washing machine, separate toilet, dish wash & veg prep facilities.Chem disposal point (with hose) All are spotless!! Thoughtful inclusion of a welcome information pack for each pitch to keep & use while you are there, (return on leaving) detailing points of interest also suggestion for days out and recommendations for local pubs etc. A nice touch is the provision of proper washing lines between each pitch plus pegs. A very warm welcome on arrival, also throughout your stay. Paul & Teresa, your CL is a credit to you. We shall be back to see you again soon,if we can get a booking. Easy walk to bus stop (5mins) &Chequers pub, good but a bit expensive. There is another 2miles away Just as good but a bit easier on the pocket. worth the walk.

A little Gem

This magnificent CL is situated in a sleepy area of the fens. Ideal for walking or cycling, with refreshment just a stroll away at the Chequers. The site is kept in immaculate condition and the facilities are simply first class.

Great site and great weather

A fantastic site with superb amenities with pitches well spread out. Each pitch has a hard standing with plenty of room for an awning, a very warm welcome from the owner. Great shower, it is actually a wet room along with a washing up area and washing machine. The whole site is kept in immaculate condition. The other reviews are spot on, it is the best site we have stopped at during the first 10 months caravanning and I would not expect another CL to beat this one.

Best CL I've visited

Stayed for a 9 night stay this March. Owners are so friendly, laid back and helpful. We had problems with our brand new Caravan and was offered all kinds of help. Showers and Toilet on site and v v clean. There is a large pack for each caravan on site with all the info you will need on your stay. Washing lines on site and a washing machine for your use. We will be going back as so much to see and do. Bus stop just down the road as is the pub that does amazing food
