Having stayed on a large number of CLs over the last few years, you tend to expect a certain standard. We were very disappointed with this CL and would not be visiting again. The access is very poor and frankly very dangerous. We ended up travelling up the road and turning around because the signage was covered up with overgrown hedge! The field looked like it had not been mown for months, possibly years, the grass was so long it was bent over! This made it difficult to negotiate the various lumps and bumps in the field. The railway line is not that noisy, but like said in other reviews, the owner does have anything up to 8 caravans at a time, for which they are only covered for 5 (according to the sign on their gate?) At one point, our electric point was unplugged by another caravanner! When I raised this with the owner - who does not live on site, she provided us with a heath-robinson styled extension lead to split our electric point and did not seem bothered that she had so many caravanners on her site. With this level of care and attention, it is quite obvious that we will not be visiting this site again. Really disappointed.
