We've just spent 7 nights here and will definitely be back.  Absolutely stunning views: you could just sit and look all day as it's always changing with the light.  However, there is plenty to do in the area, from the Wye Valley to the Brecon Beacons all within easy striking distance, so loads of walks.  Would particularly recommend Wyndcliffe Court Sculpture Garden and, at the other end of the spectrum, The Big Pit at Blaenavon. We found the site easy to access and Steve, the owner to be very welcoming.  It is on a slope but blocks are provided.  No facilities, but that suits us - a fair exchange for the views and peace and quiet.
