This CL has probably one of the best views of any CL. The site is on a working farm and could be a bit muddy if the weather is wet. The access is straight forward and comes in through the farm yard – look out for the signs directing you if you approach from the west, if you turn too soon it could be difficult to get into the CL! Steve, the owner, will provide you with a very friendly welcome (and a couple of duck eggs for breakfast if you are lucky!). The views are what make this site, being nearly 1000 feet up and looking down into a very broad valley. It was quiet, the road is immediately adjacent to the site but is not busy. Good access to local amenities, 3 bar 4G signal for EE on your mobile, free wifi on site. Overall a good stop for a night or two in the area.
