Stunning views

I think most things have been said about Mr Evans and his 9 acre field. We drove past the entrance the first time as we were coming from New Quay direction. The Club site board is hidden unless you come from the north. No worries, there is a road about 1/4 mile down the hill that goes to the Police Station and a huge car park, quick spin round and we found it 2nd time. We shared the field with 28 sheep and yes they are very efficient at dropping pebbles but its a huge field. The concrete bases are ideal and with a bit of clever parking we got the van wheels right at the edge so we could get the pegs in for the awning. It got very windy and air awnings dont like the wind but the Kampa is very robust. The views are spectacular, Bardsey Island appeared in the distance on a few occasions and the sunsets were beautiful. The rain was very impressive as well! The toilet emptying point is quite some distance from where we put the van but the car came in handy. Its about 300/400 meters away, take water, there is no tap down there. Excellent spot. Our first attempt at 'wild' caravanning. Solar panel kept the battery topped up for the four days we were there.
