Lovely welcome from owner, really nice people.
New shower facilities don’t seem to get cleaned regularly
It appears it’s your facility so please keep it clean.
Electric showers are on top of the pitch fee of 30£ with electricity.
This feels excessive as it’s impossible to shower for less than 2 quid which gives you exactly 5 minutes.
On site there is a small freezer which is handy and there is also a washing machine for £4 a wash (bring your own soap)
Enjoyed my stay but will try elsewhere next time
Superb Site.
Initially booked for one night 19th May, and ended up staying 3 nights. Lovely peaceful site, everything spotlessly clean. John and Alwina were so easy to deal with and were on hand if needed, but not intrusive. Would certainly return if in the area again. £22 pn with EHU.
A great site..would stay again. :)
Great access in our 8m motorhome. Lovely welcome from the owner. Were able to choose where we pitched. Spacious pitches. Facilities were spotlessly clean and modern. Great to have these and a washer if needed, but we were self contained. Fab to have WIFI which was free. Although a bit patchy, but no complaints here. Washer if needed. Drive over grey waste was great for the motorhome.Lovely sounds of the river. Would recommend to others. A nice relaxing and safe site with lovely views.
Ok Site but....
Arrived at site and got a warm welcom from owner. Was told to choose my own pitch in either of 2 fields I thought there was only 5 pitches however the othe field seemed to have a lot more. Pitched near facilities which was fine, lovely views and quiet. Upon using facilities found payment required for shower Thought it should be included as is many other small sites) but toilets looked like they hadnt been cleaned no toilet paper and no mop etc to clean after shower which I didnt use Internet didnt work though not essencial
would not be returning
Nice but .....
Had a 4 night stay here with our Motorhome.
On arrival we were told to choose a pitch .
The but bit ..
2 fields joined together a 5 pitch cl and a 9 pitch site !
No mention in the CMC book or Web site .
Toilets 2 mens and 2 ladies I shower each .
There are also 2 shepherd's huts so if you want to use these facilities and the sites are busy then u may have a wait .
There appears to be no cleaning regime.
Loos and showers awful.
It has the potential to be a nice site .
Cycling in the area is great cycled to Bangor and Llanberis.
Did the train up Snowdon which we enjoyed greatly.
Fantastic little site
We arrived Saturday and there was 5 of us on site, and today we’re the only ones here, the sites very well maintained, if you have e&p bring blocks, as some dips, great facilities on site, plenty of space, kid and dog friendly, with the owners allowing us to let our dogs run free in his fields. Only slight grumble is the toilet blocks don’t seem to be cleaned often, and toilet rolls not topped up. Bit overall no complaints from us.
Pleasant stay on quiet site
We had two nights on this CL and although there was enough space for 5 units on the CL field it was one of the smaller fields we have stayed on. Friendly welcome on arrival with explanation of facilities and amenities. Drive over drain for grey waste (useful in Motorhome). We tend to use our own facilities for showering, washing etc but there was both male and female showers and toilets although both could have done with a clean on quick inspection. Fridge and washing machine available for use but on a meter (need £1. Coins) as are the showers.
Site was very handy for getting around local area (Llanberris and Caernarfon) by bus with stop opposite the site entrance.

Non existent cleaning and no covid secure measures
This is a CL and CS on two neighbouring fields sharing facilities, so at the time of our stay there were 11 units in total. The shower bloc cleaning seems to be non existent (no cleaning during the full 43 hours we were on site). There is thick black mould everywhere in the ladies shower area and the only available toilet paper is a wet mess that someone had ripped out of the dispenser and put on top of it. There was no toilet paper at all in the non disabled ladies toilet during the whole stay. No hand sanitiser in shared areas such as recycling, toilet disposal point or wash-up area, just a lonely little bottle by the sink in the loos. The only cleaning materials to be seen around is an empty mop bucket, an old washing up sponge and a grubby bottle of bleach with about 1/8 inch of bleach left in it. This bottle was not moved at all the whole time we were there and neither was the mop bucket! There was bits of toilet paper and hair from showers all over the shower floor. I used my own cleaning materials to clean the shower before using it. The showers cost £1 for 3 minutes (!!!) and after the first £1 ran out and I added a second £1 coin, I only got blinking lights and no more water. I had to rinse off the shampoo on my head in our van! Thank goodness we had plenty of our own hand sanitiser because I felt I had to use some every time I touched anything on this site! How they can consider themselves to be running a Covid-19 secure business is beyond me.

Good site. Friendly owner. Be aware that showers are chargeable so make sure you have some £1 and 20p depending on how long you want to use it for.
A must stay!!!
Myself, husband and 1 year old had a delightful stay here. We chose the smaller site of 5 caravans, the views were beautiful and it was a delight each morning to wake up to either the “moo cows” or the “baa sheep”!
There is a lovely new toilet / shower block complete with a washing machine and a freezer to store food.
The land / grass it greatly maintained on a regular basis.
We felt so very safe there, to the point we could allow our 1 year old to roam around (around the caravan).
It is a family run caravan site - rund by John, Alwena and Iwan, they are such a lovely and caring family and cant do enough for you to enjoy your stay there.
Also now, they have a beautiful shepherds hut that can be rented out, with the most beautiful views to wake up to, not to be missed!
