Nice site with really good facilities. Lovely field with lovely horses in to sit and stare at. A barn owl made appearance both evenings we were there. Easy access to the canal and easy walk (or cycle) to the Barge Inn. The White Horse Hill is an easy walk or cycle as is Alton Barnes where there is a lovely little church with a really old Yew tree and spring. Friendly locals.
Had an amazing time site it flat and peaceful with plenty of room and has running water to each pitch also has a drive over motorhome waste water drain which makes thinks nice and easy, Lovely walks from the site down the canal there is even a map just as you go out the gate. Great to take bicycles as well as lots of routes around. Will definitely be coming back thank you Bryan and Jacqueline.
Dave and Annette very happy motorhomers
A very quiet and spacious CL with wi-fi, good TV reception and with EHU and water points on each pitch. It looks directly across a farm field with horses in it and a large barn and horse boxes etc to one side. The Kennet & Avon canal is minutes away. The tow path provides a long walk or bumpy cycle ride to Pewsey or Devizes where the main shops are. There are plenty of other walking routes from the site including to the higher ground on Pewsey Down from where there are excellent views, the White Horse and Wansdyke. There are also local pubs and a cafe but we didn't use them.
We had two really peaceful nights at Church Farm. We received a very warm and friendly welcome, so did the dogs and we were delighted to be given a leaflet of local walks. The walk to Honeystreet along the canal was beautiful and we really enjoyed the bohemian vibe of the Barge Inn and also the cafe. The canal walk in the other direction was even more beautiful and incredibly tranquil.
The walk through the village was also lovely and we were made to feel welcome by local residents who all said hello.
We will definitely be returning!!

We were made to feel very welcome by Bryan & Jackie on arrival. The site is a great size, with ample space for units to spread themselves out. We particularly liked the individual taps on each pitch. The site is fully fenced, making it safe for our friends' dog while we were there.
There is direct access onto the canal towpath and we had a very pleasant 30 minute walk to the Kings Arms pub in All Cannings, where we enjoyed an excellent meal. Whilst staying there, we visited Stonehenge, Salisbury and Marlborough; and also walked up to the local "white horse" about two miles away.
We would definitely return to Church Farm and we highly recommend this great CL.
