Great customer service

Ted makes your stay at this very quiet & peaceful site, totally stress-free, with excellent communication and help when you arrive. To begin with, I had to change the dates of our visit at the last-minute, due to the imminent arrival of Storm Dennis - no problem: Ted just changed the booking dates. Access to the site must be from the M40 side (follow the directions), or you will end up on some very narrow roads that are not very car-friendly, let alone twin-axle caravan-friendly ! Take notice of Ted's directions and beware that the turn in is quite difficult to spot if you are going too fast. There is a very long, single-width access drive, so take extra care with a large outfit. The pitches are flat and fully serviced - perfect - no Aquaroll changing in the middle of the night. The electric is metered but we only used around £4.00 for 2 nights and we run everything on mains, when we have a hook-up ! The only slight downside is that the chemical toilet disposal site is quite a trek back up the narrow access track, but . . . . Ted has thoughtfully provided a wheelbarrow for your use ! Took the dogs for a walk just before midnight and the torch scarily picked out about 2 dozen pairs of eyes staring at me from the adjacent field ! (Turned out to be a nightime visit from a herd of wild deer !) Didn't have chance to explore much of the surrounding area as we were only there for 2 nights, but our trip into the village of Turville for a pub dinner with the dogs provided a real sense of deja vu . . . . until I realised that it was the filming location for one of my favourite TV dramas; Goodnight Mr Tom. This was confirmed by the pub landlord of The Bull & Butcher, who also turned out to be the current owner of Mr Tom's house in the program ! If you are looking for a real quiet, countryside location with all services provided, this is well worth a visit. Thanks Ted !
