We initially booked one night at this CL end of August 2013, but booked a further night as we enjoyed our stay so much. After driving passed the sign post, the owner John managed to find us further down the road and escorted us to the site, which we thought was a really nice touch. John gave us a very nice welcome and a few tips on where to visit in the local area. He also noticed we had bikes on on the back of our motorhome and made a great suggestion of biking to Chester. we took his advice and followed the canal all the way to Chester the following day, which was a lovely ride, of about 6 miles each way. along the way were stunning views of the canal, house boats and anglers. Chester is a very bike friendly place with lots of cycle paths and cycle lparking. The site is a working farm and overlooks a canal, which is lovely. Fairly level ground and lovely lawned green grass. Only one other caravan on site so very quiet and peaceful. Lots of space with electric hook up at the pitch. Water and chemical disposal area available at entrance to site. Great location for Cheshire Oaks Designer Village along the canal, about 15 mins walk. Overall a well kept site, great location. Will stay again.
