As others have said this is a simple field site with glorious views across the Camel river to Padstow. At £8.50 it is clearly going to be basic but that suits me. Tesco, Aldi and Home Bargains are just a few minutes away. The nearby pub is excellent for both food and drink. The one thing I wish to draw members attention to is actual access into the site. The entrance is narrow and overgrown. If you have an 8ft wide unit unless damage doesn’t concern you I wouldn’t even attempt to get in. In my opinion the minimum you will get away with is scratches. We were there in May and i cut back some of the bigger bits of foliage encroaching the gate but it needs a serious clearout. Its not so much what you can see but what you can’t. Granite is popular in those parts! I have left a review on Google maps with a photo so you can judge for yourself But assuming you get in safely then it is a superb place to stay.
