We spent one night here, on route home from a holiday in Wales. We'd spent the previous two nights at an overly priced CC site in Ludlow so it was so nice to find this little gem of a place. As a avid Richard III fan being able to spend the night in a field just feet away from the castle ruins of his birth obviously added to the appeal but the riverside location was bliss with scenic walks alongside the bank. We were able to watch the green woodpeckers in the hawthorn tree by the van, see a red kite soar above us and just chill out in a beautiful setting. we will certainly return.
