A lovely gem of an area. The site is a pretty field with 4 other pitches and just water and toilet disposal. Lovely owner and site is very peaceful. Within walking distance is the lighthouse, headland, seal colony, nice cafe, also south landing with RNLI shop selling ice reams and life boat, North landing with cafe, rspb reserve and swimming beach, quirky flamborough with supermarket, pubs, cafes and shops, and so many different styles of houses. We planned to catch a bus further afield, but too busy exploring. We will be back.
Peaceful Jubilee break
What a beautiful peaceful site 1 mile from the Flamborough lighthouse and within walking distance, we're on the 5 van Certificated site with neighbours either side the sun is out, What more does one need besides a bbq and drink or two.
It's a off the grid site with the basics, fresh water and chemical waste point but with modern Caravans most can cope for at least a long weekend or more with a solar panels go on treat yourself.

Simply delightful
This is an off grid site with water and chemical waste disposal. Very peaceful during our week, but as others mention there is a rally field adjacent. No grumpy warden on site as mentioned in earlier reviews. Great for walking from site - and buses available from site gates in summer, or from Flamborough village all year round. Lovely owners.
Great little CL
We have just come back from 6 nights on this fantastic CL. No frills, just a tap and elsan disposal. Next door to a larger caravan site and with seasonal caravans and a rally field as part of the same site, but separated from the CL. Road is busy in the day but not noticeably noisy. Worth mentioning that the site entrance is easy to miss and a bit tight.
A mile walk to Flamborough Lighthouse, where you will find a small restaurant/pub, which closes quiet early. A mile or so the opposite direction is Flamborough village with shops and pubs. Note that the Fish and Chip shop closes at 6.45pm.
We walked to both North Landing and South Landing, back via the village each time. Pleasant walks that are about 2-3 hours.
Bridlington is close, and you can take the bus if you want to give the car a rest. Parking is expensive. We also visited Filey, again parking is not cheap.
I would recommend the site for short breaks, I don't see kids enjoying it but I guess that depends on your kids.
Mobile signal was good enough for me to stream the Champions League final.
All in all, we enjoyed our time here and, for 8 quid a night, it is on the list of ones we would return to.
Good CL for us
Stayed for 1 night- good area to walk from. Site was quiet despite being a field just off larger caravan site.
Easter weekend
We stayed at carr house over Easter. We arrived on the Thursday and stayed for four nights. No one there on arrival so picked a pitch and set up. The CL is on top of a small hill next to a static caravan park. The pitches are pretty level and grass had recently been cut. Very peaceful, only about a mile from the light house. Or just over a mile from village which had three pubs and a shop. Great walking, plenty of marked footpaths. Great CL . Will be going back again.
Would be better without the 'warden'
Although this site does not have electric, it's not a problem. The location is good and access to Flamborough Head and cliff tops etc is good (and walkable). The site was quiet, but failed to see the need for a permanent warden living on the site checking you in and out. It's clear to see that he lives on site for the season, is not the owner, but is in fact just a normal member (or non-member). This causes the CL to break the occupancy rules, as he should be classed as a user.
Would go again, but the warden puts us off :(
Not a good CL
The CL is accessed through a bigger caravan and camping club site not a usual quiet cl. You may as well go to a big caravan site. When we were there the site must have had in excess of 50 caravans and a big tent where they met and played music on a night.
