Best CL toilet and shower block we have seen.
Unbeatable scenery. Views of canal, hills, farmland and brecon mountain tops. It's a lovely flat walk into Brecon along the canal, (About an hours stroll). 30 mins in opposite direction on the canal to a lovely pub that has a garden backing onto the canal.
The site was easy to find and access was good. As others have commented, the owners are not forthcoming on greeting you apon arrival. However this is really not a problem as the pitches are easy to find and relatively clearly laid out. (The grass is roughly cut and pitches were wet, and the ground is slightly uneven, this didn't bother us but is worth mentioning just incase your expecting tightly mowed, perfectly level pitches). Water is opposite the pitches and bin area etc is oposited toilet block which is clearly marked.
We really enjoyed our 4 nights at this site and if it was a little closer to home we would definitely make it a regular site to visit.
The reason for giving the site 4 out of 5 is because you can here a constant humming noise from the A40, which we did adjust to but without this the site would be perfect. And our only other slight grumble was that the resident collie that appears to wander loose around the site raided our awning at least 3 times. So beware, don't leave your bin in your awning unless you don't mind picking your rubbish up from the floor when you return from a day out. Again we didn't really mind that much and soon learnt to put the bin in the caravan.
Really lovely site that is worth a visit. Weekends seem to get booked up quick so well worth booking in advanced.
