Lovely tranquil site

Stayed here for 3 nights, wonderfully quiet yet close to all amenities. We have 2 large dogs so was particularly pleased with the choice of footpaths accessible direct from the site. Was made to feel very welcome by the owner.

Peace and Tranquility

Lovely warm welcome from both Mrs Knowles and her daughter at this secluded, peaceful and tranquil CL. Basic facilities but with the added bonus of a shared but spotlessly clean toilet available. Site is almost completely sloping so ramps definitely required but this affords wonderful views across countryside. Access is okay but down a single track lane. Follow directions in club book. Easy access to Lindfield village with all its facilities

Lovely Farm feel 🙂

We spent a week at the farm and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We shared the field with one other caravan and basically did our own thing. Great views over the countryside from the site and peaceful and quiet. Lindiield was just down the road and has everything you could ask for in a village, co-op, butchers, bakers, greengrocers and a curry house 😆😆 The Mother Ann and her son couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. Basic CL site which was exactly what we wanted. It was our first time ‘off grid’ using our solar panels and being self sufficient and all went well. Toilet was basic but functional, couldn’t ask for much more than that. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in the area. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Very nice simple rural CL

Charming quiet site with open views south across the valley. Delightful bluebell woods 15 minutes’ walk away.

Ideal site for a quiet break in beautiful countryside

We wanted an Autumn week on a quiet spacious site with a view and beautiful country surroundings. We also wanted to be able to walk on footpaths from the site and be close to Ashdown Forest. Bursteye Farm completely fitted our requirements. This is a wonderful and surprisingly rural part of Sussex with historical tracks through woods and deep valleys. The picturesque village of Lindfield, a real gem, is nearby. Very friendly and helpful owners.

A functional basic CL

We stayed at this CL for 4 nights end of August we found it to be functional basic CL. It was ideal for us as we are walkers and a public footpath run right past the CL entrance so you can walk from site. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who gave us site info. The CL is slightly sloping grass field the grass was quit long on our visit but it did not bother us as it looks like the grass cuttings are not collected when cut so we did not tread much into van on this occasion. The road up the CL is quite narrow but is fairly straight and little used. I would advise owners of larger T/A's to pull up on farmhouse forecourt well to the right as its quite a sharp turn into the CL gate on the left. We enjoyed our stay here and cant complain about it in anyway there are plenty of thing to do and see in the area. This is a basic old fashioned CL with no hook ups but it has a basic clean WC if required.

Burstye Farm Lindfield.

An unpretentious Cl with pleasant views and all the basic requirements. We were met by and recieved a warm welcome from the owner Mr Knowles. Just a short distance away is the charming village of Lindfield complete with duck pond, a good selection of traditional shops and dining houses. Close by is the magnificent river Ouse viaduct, Ardingly reservoir and The Bluebell Railway all well worth a visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Burstye Farm and will doubtless return
