We have just spent a most glorious seven nights at this fabulous CL. A very warm welcome from Judith greeted us and our lovely, level hardstanding pitch had the most amazing panoramic views. EHU and water were conveniently close to hand, so set up was extremely easy. We spent six days cycling on the Machars and it was wonderful. The site is perfectly positioned with immediate access to incredibly quiet roads and lanes which criss-crossed through the beautiful and varied landscape of the peninsula, from shimmering seas' to dense pine plantations the climbs were short and easy, traffic was so light and what little we encountered were really courteous. A stunning cliff top walk from Garlieston to the Isle of Whithorn on our last day rounded off the most perfect of stays, it was pure bliss.
