We have just spent 9 nights at this CL which is in a really large quiet field which gives you loads of space and no restrictions on how you pitch.
Site has excellent CL facilities with 16 amp EHU and Phone / 4G reception is perfect.
It is positioned 10 mins drive from the Oxford Park and Ride or a 5 minute walk to the bus stop.
Lots of visits to mention in the area, and if stuck, the owners Nicky and Andy , who give you a lovely welcome, are an encyclopedia of local information.
We will be returning and recommend highly . £25 pn with EHU or £20 without EHU
Peaceful and welcoming site.
We stayed here for a one night stopover with easy access from A43. Really nice welcome from Nicky. Lots of space between vans and very peaceful through the day and night. A few red kites flying overhead throughout the day.
An easy and pleasant 15 minute walk into Dorchester where there are a couple of pubs and the abbey.
An easy access site with village, shop and pub a short walk away. So peaceful.
What a lovely site. Communication with the owners was brilliant and accommodating. The field is really large and pretty level, hardly any adjustment needed. Easy to find and easy access. You can walk to Dorchester on Thames along the road which has a path alongside it, DoT has a few pubs and a little Coop which is handy. You can also wander the other direction for a drink/food at the Chequers which is nice. The owners gave us an A4 fact sheet with info on which was handy as we needed to refuel and the info was on there on where the nearest was.
We were here for a couple of nights for a wedding at the Earth Trust so only managed to visit Wallingford (& DoT) which was an absolute delight, drinks in the sun at the newly refurbished Boathouse (after the flood) was so lovely that we went twice in one morning, a early cuppa and then back for lunch after a nice walk.
The sound of the red kites flying overhead was so delightful, I just love that sound. On the morning we left we saw a hot air balloon go overhead.... always a treat.
We will return and stay longer next time as the area is simply gorgeous.
Fabulous little site.
A fabulous little gem of a site. We have just spent 4 nights here and are sad to be leaving.
Perfect for lovely walks or short bus rides into Wallingford or Oxford.
The owner, Nicky, couldn’t have been more helpfull.
Will definitely be back.

Lovely, relaxing site
Following recommendations from a post I put on Facebook earlier this year, we had a one night stay at Burcot Brook Lodge CL en route to Dorset. We received a lovely welcome from Nicky when we arrived and were made to feel very welcome.
The grass site was spacious and we could park wherever we wanted to. It was a really warm day and was lovely sitting out in the evening with a glass of wine and a book - watching the ground mist creeping in. We had EHU with grey waste into the hedge.
Beautiful sunrise. I would definitely stay again.

Little Gem
Nice traditional CL with lovely owners. Large well drained grass field with plenty of electric hook up points plus water and CDP disposal. Excellent TV signal and easy access of the road.
Plenty to do in the area, five minutes walk to The Chequers Gastro pub. Fifteen minutes walk into Dorchester on Thames , the setting for many an episode of Midsomer Murders. In the real world it has an Abbey, Co-Op, three hotels/pubs and a further Fifteen minutes walk to Days Lock on the Thames and Wittenham Clumps. Easy access by car into Oxford Park and Ride, Wallingford, Didcot Railway Centre and the museum of Minature Landscape/model railway at Long Wittenham and Henley on Thames.
Perfect ….We just had a five night stay here
This was our second visit here . Last year we came in our caravan but this year it was our first trip out in our motorhome which we only got last week. We were a little worried as to how we would manage without a car to pop out in but no problems. There are bus stops just round the corner from the site with buses to Abingdon and walk a little further (less than 15 mins ) and you can catch the express bus to Oxford, Reading and Wallingford ( we went to Wallingford ] We also caught the bus to Iffley and walked down the Thames path to Sandford on Thames ,. The Thames Path at Dorchester on Thames is also a nice walk away to watch the boats ……All you need is a bus timetable ( and our dog went on the bus with us everywhere ) …We had a lovely time, the site is fabulous and spacious and we will be back next year to walk some more of the Thames path. Thank you Nicky and Andy

Great find
This CL is beautiful the space is amazing and the ability to be able to park where and how you want is a bonus. Nicky is very friendly and promptly responded to any questions we had before arrival. We were met at the gate which is a lovely touch and very helpful as information shared is very helpful and you cannot beat local knowledge. The CL is a great find and we will be back

Restful break
Just returned from 4 nights on this site. What a find! So spacious, with plenty of choice for pitching up (choice of full sun all day or just mornings). Easy access to water, grey waste and elsan disposal. Friendly welcome from site owners. Great space for dog to explore, also walks off site. We will definitely return for another restful recharging of our batteries.

Perfection
Can't recommend this site more highly. What a flat field - took us only 20 minutes to set up - no levelling necessary. So nice to be met at the gate by Andy and then Nicky stopped by later. Very helpful leaflet provided of local spots and we tried the George Hotel for our first evening meal and it was exceptional - what a fabulous building full of great interior design ideas and almost an art gallery, all the way through the delightful restaurant.
Nicky has been the most responsive owner that we've ever come across - both with emails and our telephone call for help with the gate lock. As others have said, the field is so large and the EHU points are well spaced out so you have a huge pitch to yourself and can position your van any which way you like - no straight lines here!
The local area has a great deal to offer - Dorchester is delightful - we would have spent longer in the Abbey but a wedding was about to start. The Snug Cafe and Farm shop is going to be a great breakfast stop when it's fully established - little bit of a building site at the moment - although the alpaca walking that they do at the farm is bound to be popular.
Can highly recommend the Waterfront at Benson as an ideal spot to view the Thames and boats with excellent food and drink. Days Lock is also worth a visit as well as the Earth Trust and the Wittenham Clumps. For anyone with a sense of adventure and young folk - the Wet and Wild attraction just down the road from the site looks terrific fun and the sailing lake and fishing lakes make for some lovely local scenery.
Thank you so much Nicky and Andy - great hosts - much appreciated.
