Just returned from a week's stay at Bunkers Hill Park. This is a beautifully kept site with very friendly no fuss owners. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you. The site benefits from views across open countryside and if you are lucky you will see the deer grazing in the evenings. There is an abundance of lovely birds to watch but most of all for us, the fact that we could safely walk our 2 Springers off lead once in the field behind the site which ajoins open farm land with footpaths everywhere - bliss. Thank you Andrea, John and family for a very enjoyable first visit. We will be back. Bob and Shirley Ellis (Annie and Bluebell - woof woof). Motorhomers from East Sussex.
Fabulous CL
Very well kept CL, grass kept short, water and waste disposal within easy reach. Lovely dog walks from the site, again, well kept footpaths. Short trip to beaches - about 5 miles/10 minute drive - our favourite was Dunwich. Very laid back about where to park - plenty of space between pitches. We'll be back!
Well worth a visit
The CL is easily found as the sat-nav found the farm gate just using the post code. Although the weather was wet and the site well watered it was firm enough to drive on with care. The facilities are all well kept with plenty of water pressure and a really convenient toilet emptying point. The walks round the fields are very pleasant and the coast only a short drive away. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Hopefully this will be the first of many visits.
Immaculate and peaceful site
We stayed here for three nights over the May Bank Holiday weekend. It is a wonderful site. Owners are friendly and welcoming. Site is extremely well kept. There is ample space for all visitors. Views are lovely. There is hardly a slope (this is East Anglia after all!). If you come in from the A12, it is easy to find. We tried to be a bit clever and got lost down the Suffolk lanes. We are fairly local and so are biased. This is a lovely area! Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich, Dunwich Heath (NT), Minsmere and Aldeburgh are all worth a visit. We will return.
Fab 4 dogs and walking
What a fabulous site this is!
Andrea sent us a list of local amenities before we arrived , which was useful
Quiet site with VERY occasional road noise
Good TV reception
Good Mobile Phone reception
Good water pressure ( take a connector for tap to water hog )
Fantastic views
The Owners sent us a map of local footpaths which was VERY helpful and we walked about 4 of the routes, round the farmers fields, only once we had to backtrack cos one of the farmers had changed the shape of his field!
Emptying the grey water by a tree is a very good idea
Recycling on site
Easy access to the site
Wellies needed for walking on site and around fields, especially in the morning before the sun has a chance of drying out the grass
Site is slightly sloping and I do wonder if the weather was wet whether a 4 x 4 car would be needed , fortunately we had fantastic weather so wasnt worried about not having a big vehicle
Visited with our 4 dogs: Kestleton heath, Dunwich beach. Dunwich forest, Sizewell beach, Woodland walks near Sizewell, Aldeburgh, Walberswick Nature Reserve and beach,Southwold south beach
Highly recommended site in a fabulous area
Great CL
If you enjoy peace & quiet, walking from the site,no need to use the car for a lovely walk to the pub in Bramfield which serves lovely food , plus plenty of other marked walks and only a short drive to the coast then this site is the one for you. The site sits on a lovely plot and offers the usual water &CDP,We can't wait to return,Thanks James &Andrea

Fantastic weekend break
This is the first review I have ever given as I don't normally do this sort of thing, but I have to say this site is worth a mention. Beautiful location and the owners,James & Andrea could not have been any more accommodating, such a warm and friendly welcoming. The nearest pub was about a fifteen minute walk, great food and beer, very friendly.
We will definitely be back in the near future, just hope it doesn't get too busy that we can't get in !
Lovely site
This is a lovely site, spacious, good views, quiet and tidy. Andrea and James made us feel very welcome and offered advice (and a map) of local walks, where to eat, shop etc. If, like us, you have a dog (or 3) then they too will appreciate the miles of walks available, without going near a road and rarely even meeting anyone on the way. This is a great 'retreat', so peaceful, we will definitely be back.

Perfect Start To The Season
This was the first time that we stayed at this site and enjoyed every minute. From the moment we'd set up, we were soaking up the peace and tranquillity. With beautiful scenery and wildlife in abundance it was a real pleasure to be there.
Andrea and James are extremely friendly and helpful; and made us feel truly welcome. We were provided with a map of the surrounding walks which proved to be a great help in exploring just a small part of miles of fantastic countryside. We really can't say enough good things about this site and look forward to visiting again, of which we are already booked for.....(twice)
