Having used CL's for years and never been disappointed until this one. The CL field is scruffy but enough space for a caravan and awning. We were told we would be in another field but it was beside the drive a pitch so narrow that as you opened the door you would need to check on the traffic. These extra 5 pitches are far too small. The club should look into the practice of having extra pitches. They advertise 5 van sites. This clearly breaks the rules. Chikens, dogs and children wander freely and sheep at the start and the end of the day. An Aquaroll (40Litre) takes 20 minutes to fill! The fishing is a joke as there are only tiddlers in there. Come back in 5 years and you may get a catch. The price was £14.50 a night with an extra £5 for paying by check. We came once and never again.
