Another Good Holiday

I have to disagree with the reviewer that said 'Third Time Unlucky' I stayed at the site at the same time as GarethC and heard the Quad Bikes, the noise started at about six 0' clock and lasted about twenty minutes and was not at all intrusive. The reviewer made it sound as if it lasted hours and was a regular occurrence which it isn’t. The site is very quiet in the evening and during the day, and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. This is the second time we have stayed at this site and will certainly return again in the future I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

3rd time unlucky

This is the third time we have stayed here but it wasn't as restful as previously. Main issues for us were the owners family giving it what for on quad bikes in the field immediately behind the pitches after school out time till about 7:45pm one night, full throttle drifting stuff, not just pottering about.  I appreciate that it's their land but it's also a cl for people to relax on. Otherwise a lovely stay in the area.

Nice peaceful place

Just returned having stayed 5 nights, the five members pitches all look towards the reservoir and the mountains beyond, its a brilliant start to your day having breakfast and looking out over the great view. I have read the comments about the showers but I found that having the sink, toilet and shower in a wet room quite good and I can also say there is plenty of hot water. There is a local RAF base nearby which has a small number of training aircraft, you could say it was noisy but being a little old fashioned I liked having them around. The site is in a good central location for the island and not too far away are decent beaches, South Stack if you are a bird watcher and National Trust properties which I like to look at. Finally for those of you with dogs the site provides a large grass area to exercise them. All in all it is on my list of sites worth another visit.

Excellent site

We are very new to caravanning and have just returned from 5 nights at Bryn Hyfryd. Overall a really good experience. The site is centrally located and all the coastline of Anglesey is within easy reach.  The facilities are a bit basic but totally functional.  Toilet/shower compartments are clean, spacious and well maintained.  The showers have excellent pressure and lots of hot water.  We were in the adjoining field as all the CL's hard standings were in use; the field has a slight slope and some form of levelling is needed. Very quiet and friendly - you are left alone to enjoy the peace and tranquility. We will be back ....!

Lovely CL site

Stayed at this site for ten days and had a wonderful relaxing time. The toilets were very clean and the showers were hot and powerful. Opposite the hard standing pitches is a field where horses are kept and it was great to watch them cantering about. The owner was very friendly. It is about ten minutes drive to the local town which has plenty of supermarkets and shops.

We have just returned from Bryn hyfryd and I have to say what a place. Very clean and tidy, facilities were of a good standard but basic. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The area has good views over to Snowdonia and is very peaceful. The CL site was fully booked when we tried to book 15/6/14-22/6/14 but we used the grass site around the corner, which is sloping but just as nice. If you want a peaceful holiday, then this is the place. The nearest local amenities are in Llangefni about 5 miles away. If we go back to Angelsey then this is the site I will be looking to stay at
