A lovely welcome from Paul & Helen on our first visit to this CL. It is no surprise that this site has won awards, it is beautiful, pitches are well set out and plenty of space between them, lovely views of open farmland and had some brilliant sunsets while we were there. The grass areas are well kept, plenty of flowers everywhere and the facilities are immaculately clean, very impressive. The pitches themselves are stones but no problem erecting an awning. The CL is very quiet apart from the occasional farm traffic and even horses, extremely peaceful site. The lanes around the area are nice for strolling around and taking our dog for a walk. The site is also well located for visiting places like Chester, Shrewsbury and Llangollen, all within easy reach. Stayed for a week, will be sure to return soon.
