Ducks and Daffodils

A lovely site. Quiet and peaceful among the daffodils and fruit trees in blossom. Plenty of Foot paths but had to drive to other attractions. Would certainly recommend this CL.

Great place to stay. A good base for visiting the local area.

A lovey site and a pleasant welcome. The pub across the road recently closed, the village church is just yards away. Although early spring, (well still snowing actually) when we visited the site was still in good condition, other sites close by were closed because of the weather. In the summertime it must be a great place to stay. Wi fi was not the best to get connected to but still useable. A great touch is putting the tiny information caravan, also with books to borrow close to the water supply. Some very good walks also available staring from the site. I was just a little surprised when going to pay that the cost had gone up to £15.00, I suppose I should have checked the CC Site Directory as I got all the information from their website which still states £12.00 per night. This site is definitely one of the better CL's we have stayed on and would recommend it to all members.

Excellent welcome

This was our first caravan trip and we were very warmly welcomed and helped. We were given maps for local walks and advice on where to pitch. Lovely setting in an orchard in the grounds of the moated house. Excellent toilet and shower. Unfortunately local pub has just closed but Stonham Barns a walk away with a restaurant, deli and village shop. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely Site

A lovely site with easy access. The pitches are all quite spread out and the orchard area is a delight to stay in. The facilities are always spotless and warm. The church bells are a nice late alarm call on a Sunday and the local pub, about a 2 minute walk away, provides good food in a relaxing atmosphere. We always try and stay on this site at least once a year, perfect!
