A true port in a storm
We arrived in Leyburn and a real squally storm blew up, we telephoned and the owners said a place was available. We arrived and all Janet the owner was concerned about that we were comfortable and pitched for a good nights rest. A real port in a storm and we were so grateful for it.
Brookfields Farm is located in the village of Harmby, one and a half miles from the market town of Leyburn. The site enjoys amazing views across to Middleham and up into Wensleydale. Harmby boasts its very own waterfall, a pub called the Pheasant (a real trip back in time here) and there are some beautiful walks too. Leyburn has two supermarkets, shops, cafes and pubs. The Wensleydale Railway has a working station in the town.
