This site has six hardstanding pitches but we have been on the site a few times now and it has never had more than five units on it - good to see a CL owner sticking to the five unit rule. I assume that the six pitches are to give you a bit of a choice. Actually each one has an excellent view across the valley; in my opinion it is the best view from any of the 150+ sites we have stayed at. Great walks straight from the site - across the fields to Leyburn or down to the river - making it excellent if you have a dog. The toilet is kept immaculate. There is no shower - that is the only criticism I could think of but if you have your own facilities as we do it is no great loss.
