Peaceful site

Well maintained, peaceful and picturesque site. Entrance is over a small bridge, but Roy gave advice re access on booking. Take it steady and this isn’t a problem - even with my twin axel Challenger 645. Very flexible on plots, giving a great degree of privacy. Crow Farm shop at the top of the road (a few minutes walk) is well worth visiting. Would use this CL next time we visit this area.

Peace on Earth

We stayed here for a long weekend a few weeks ago. Had a lovely welcome from Roy, who gave us some tips on the area. The pitches were plenty big enough and had hook ups and all the usual facilities nearby. The site was beautiful and so peaceful. Although it feels like you are out in the sticks its actually not too far to travel to get to Ringwood and other town. I would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for peach and tranquillity.

Excellent relaxing Stay

A lovely little site. Received a very warm welcome from Roy who offered up information about the area as well as the facilities he had on site. Well maintained grass area with five pitches which, when full, would still give you plenty of space for your caravan/motorhome, plus awning and vehicle. One of the pitches was hardstanding. All had electric points too. 15/20 mins from Mudeford beach and on the doorstep of the New Forest. Plenty of things to do around the area or just relax on the site. Mobile signal is good on site connecting to main networks for those that need to access the world wide web. There is a Farm shop a couple of minutes up the road or Ringwood 5 mins drive up the road with various supermarkets etc. Would definitely use the site again, reasonably priced too. Thank you to Roy for a lovely holiday, hope to see you again soon, Kim & Ken Hope

Very warm welcome

Lovely little site, beautifully maintained and we received a very warm welcome. It's right next to the road but it didn't disturb us overnight at all. We only stayed one night on our way back home but it's a lovely place to stay.

Lovely stay in the New ForestA

A warm welcome awaited us, easy set up and all services were handy. Roy gave us the low down on what’s on locally but the biggest bonus for was the plathera of free roaming animals, which were very chilled out in their beautiful surroundings , we just kept marvelling them . The local farm shop’s own pork pies were some of the tastiest we had in a long while, and we would rank them within our top 10 ratings in the UK. Ringwood brewery is just a few minutes away by car, has a tasting bar and off sales , try Old Thumper. We would defo return, all in for £15 / night, than you very much Roy for making our stay so enjoyable, Regards Lou and Terri

Perfection!

This is a perfect CL. As previous reviews it is lovely. Booking was easy, facilities onsite all good, and the actual camping area is a beautiful, flat orchard/meadow. There are a couple of hard stand areas and ample other room. Ringwood 10mins by bicycle, turn the other way and you are quickly onto the New Forest. It is on a side road, traffic was minimal during our stay. Enjoy!

Nice and tidy site

Nicely laid out site - trees in the middle made it quite private. Good facilities but no WC. The road was busy for a rural location, so not easy to walk the dogs. Also quite a narrow bridge at the entrance to turn into, particularly with other traffic trying to get past. Nevertheless the road was quiet overnight. Very close and convenient to the New Forest. Owners friendly and helpful.

Very Helpful

As new caravan owners this was our first time away, so lots to learn!! Roy made our few days stay in the beautiful new forest a most enjoyable experience. Roy couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming. As first timers we had a few teething troubles especially with our T.V which Roy did his up most to resolve, appearing from the bushes with 60 ft of cable in his hand to plug into the caravans T.V. He was always on hand to offer advice on places to visit, shop and things to do. The site was peaceful most of the time, although a little noise from early morning traffic, which didn't impact on our stay. Lovely and secluded so never felt overlooked. All in all a very enjoyable few days away and we will return in the future.

Good Welcome and site

Very well maintained site with well positioned services. The CL is laid out so you are not looking at each other with a natural central island and edges. Mr Callow gave us a warm welcome on arrival and was helpful during our stay. Very well placed for the New Forest and close to Ringwood for shops etc. The only draw back was the early morning traffic noise, the site is located on a minor road that takes a great deal of fast comuter traffic not to much of a problem in the evening but we were woken up every morning with the noise. But that is the only draw back.
