What a fabulous CL this is. A warm friendly welcome from the owner. A very good little reception room with lots of information / walking sheets Hard standings (6) water tap for each pair of pitches, electric points and waste facilities. The surrounding fields are full of lapwings, snipe, curlews, partridge and pheasants and the nearby woods have deer grazing. The local area is a walkers paradise - plenty of superb routes through super scenery - AND several great tea rooms to recover in!! The owner is happy to help / offer advice re places to visit and walking routes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SITE. Footnote: other reviews have referred to machinery noise. This is a working farm, it processes wood chipping, a heat exchange unit runs 24/7, there is some background noise BUT it had no adverse or interfering effect during our visit (and I for one am a very light sleeper!!)
