Extremely saddened by attitude of owner. Stayed on this site over Easter. Woke on Easter Monday to pitch being completely flooded and belongings floating around awning. I contacted owner who informed me this had never happened before. There was a massively flooded area in front of another pitch and my parents who were also staying on site had a completely water logged area under their car. In the spirit of caravaning we dealt with the issue and moved to another pitch causing no issues to the owners- one of which who came to see our predicament and apologised and maintained the stance it had never happened before. On leaving I went to settle our bill and was extremely saddened that not only did she charge me an extra £4 a night for children even though this isn't listed on the site when booking but she informed me it is on a notice in the toilet she didn't even offer a gesture of goodwill in terms of cost for all our inconvenience and upset from being flooded. She arrived at our caravan 5 minutes after I informed her of my disappointment with £16 which was In respect of the over charge only although my husband said no she left the money outside our van - a feel this was a guilty gesture.
