Great walks all around
We are new to caravanning but have already had a couple of short breaks on this site. It is well kept and has all that is required for a pleasant stay.
There are scenic walks whatever direction you choose to go. We had some walks around swithland woods and have been around several routes in Bradgate park. The dog loves her breaks here and was clearly excited to be back on our return visit. We had lots of local information provided by Mr Jee both by e mail prior to our visit and on arrival. The site has a friendly and welcoming feel.
During our visits we have tried the chip shops in Ansty and Rothley. They were both good. We also tried the Curry house in Ansty which was also good. There are so many places to eat that it is hard to chose but I expect we will be back to try some of them out.
The site is fairly close to the road so it is not completely peaceful but as others have said, I didn't notice it at night so not a problem.
Overall a lovely welcoming site. One which we will no doubt return to.
