Lovely & peaceful site

Stayed for 2 nights on this lovely CL. Nice even pitches with water, electric and grey waste disposal to each which is a real bonus! Lovely peaceful site in beautiful countryside with easy access to many places of interest and beautiful beaches. There is a toilet in one of the farm buildings if needed. Last bit of journey is on some narrow roads but if you follow the directions on here rather than sat nav then you’ll be fine. We enjoyed our stay here and if the chance arises we would book for longer next time.

A very peaceful site.

The site is immaculate especially having water and drainage on each pitch (and not paying through the nose for it ). there was only one other caravan there during our visit so very peaceful. The location was good for some very good beachesand nature reserves, but beware of sat navs as a lot of the roads are very narrow. We had a wonderful week but the good weather did help

Peace and quiet

Bradfield Hall Farm is an excellent CL, very quiet and peaceful. It's great having fresh water and waste facilities on each pitch and the chemical toilet point is close to all pitches. The site is well kept. We had a great few days exploring the local area on our bikes. The CL is very close to Sustrans routes 30 and 33 and sits on a network of quiet lanes.

Wondful CL

We have recently returned from a three night stay at this great CL.  Our two dogs enjoyed the numerous walks straight from the site.  Plenty of space and extremely peaceful and relaxing.  Owner Jane was very welcoming and informative too.  We will definitely be back.

Great CL

Great CL in a lovely area. Lanes a bit narrow but no problem. Serviced pitches and a toilet down in one of the farm buildings. Pitches well defined and reasonably flat. Plenty of wildlife visits the site. North Walsham has 2 supermarkets (Waitrose and Sainsbury + including petrol) also lots of small independent shops. If required there is a well stocked caravan accessory shop at West Runton. Plenty of POI's including National Trust, RSPB, Norfolk Wildlife Trust sites etc.

Great CL - 'customer service' of the highest standard

We visited Bradfield Hall Farm for a long weekend and were impressed with every aspect of the CL, from communicating with the owner, Jane, prior to arriving, to the facilities on the pitch (power and water), the welcome and interest shown by Jane (which I have to say was outstanding- including a handwritten review of local eateries and a bag of useful literature about places to visit which we found waiting on our step on the first day!) and not least the spacious pitches themselves. It is in the most lovely area and we will definitely return. One tip: do visit the Gunton Arms (we walked from the CL - 30 minutes) it's an experience not to be missed . Look at Jay Raynor's review on the web!

Probably our favourite CL in Norfolk.

I think like many others I’m reluctant to give this a great review as we like it as it is and would rather keep it a secret !!!! Is it the warm welcome from Jane, the serviced pitches (EHU, water and waste on each pitch), the endless field walks or even the entertainment from the dog ‘trainers’ that keep us coming back time and again…..I’m not sure but this is our most frequently visited CL. We have now been visiting 3 or 4 times a year for at least 3+ years and have noticed that it is slowly getting busier as people discover this little gem and in turn return time and again. It is sometimes difficult to book as Jane has her hands full with the Farm and her family but we find to email or call her mobile is best. Having visited from early April to late October and during the school holidays I don’t think I have ever seen it full and there has always been a nice atmosphere. Do follow the arrival instructions as some of the lanes are very narrow. The site is at the back of the farm and enjoys beautiful views across the fields towards Antingham, there is some farm noise but generally it is very quiet….it is a working farm after all !!!! Water waste (grey and black) are convenient and clean as is the farm toilet which is open 24/7, the site is generally level, drains well and the grass kept reasonably short. Bradfield Hall Farm is on the Regional Cycle Route 30 and Route 33 giving generally very safe cycling from the farm to the coast at either Cromer or Mundesley where there is a great play park for the children. One of our favourites routes is to Cromer, up to Felbrigg and back in a loop to the Farm a loop of about 14 miles but easily extended to 30+…. North Walsham has a selection of supermarkets and gas should you need it, there is also very good Fish and Chips in Cromer should you want an easy meal, a 45 minute walk across the Farm leads you through to Antingham and on to the Gunton Arms where the beer is good and the artwork ‘interesting’ !!! If you’re looking for a quiet retreat this ticks many of the boxes in our view.

what a surprise

From the moment you arrive Jane the owner makes you feel at home. The site surprised us as it had not only an abundance of water points, but each marked pitch had its own grey waste, a fact not mentioned here, and meant that if I had the right amount of grey pipe I could do away with the wastehog. Jane to the rescue, and quick as a flash she had a roll of pipe and I was then able to feed straight to the waste water, meaning no trips to empty the wastehog!!! In addition there are a number of EHU points, making life easy for us caravaners. She takes a lot of interest in what we caravaners think, and I noticed she asked all those on site for comments, and is keen to make still more improvements. There were at least 2 on site who had been before and we will go back. The site is off the main road and the country lanes are narrow, but do not be put off. The field is marked out with pegs and some may not like this, but we found it ok. Besides the CL, she has laid out a number of walks and this just makes the whole experience better. There are a couple of donkeys in the field nearby, which the children love to visit and the local dog club meet for lessons, do try and have a look, we found it most entertaining. Despite running the farm with her husband and the CL she made the effort to entertain our grandson and invited him and us to cross the fields to visit with a neighbours alpaca's. Really going beyond what we feel a CL owner has to do. I hope you will give it a try, as it has easy access to Cromer and the North Norfolk coast, all for only £12.50 a bargain we feel. Of course we thought twice about leaving a review, would it mean that we would not be able to get on the site when next we wanted to visit, but we feel others should try it, and if it keeps people like Jane in the CL system, it has got to benefit us all.
