Stayed here for 8xNights from 19th January so we could visit family and catch up on some walking and NT visits - it was brilliant. Warmly welcomed by John who showed us where to pitch etc., Friday to Monday on-site coffee shop is open with lovely welcome from Louise and friend serving great coffee/tea/soft drinks/soup/sandwiches/cakes etc., well worth popping in. We walked to Bolam Lake, visited Wallington Hall gardens, 20 min drive down to Morpeth and much more of the outdoor activity - this is a great CL and we will certainly make a return trip.
