Perfectly located CL for visiting around Aviemore

Stayed with 2 fellow motorhoming friends in mid-July. Easy walk of 5-10 minutes across a small field and along the river, into Carrbridge, passing the beautiful old Packhorse Bridge on the way. Carrbridge has 2 hotels (The Carrbridge and the Cairn), petrol station, Spa mini market and a decent bus service, which was ideal for us motorhomers. Access to Grantown-on Spey, Nethy Bridge, Boat of Garten and Inverness. The station, which is 15 minutes from the site also took us into Aviemore (1 stop, 6 minutes, but gave us more time to explore in and around Aviemore). We had great weather, a bit of rain at night, and no midges! Some great walks very close by as well. We had the amazing Haggis Lasagne at the Cairn Hotel one night. The CL itself has everything you need (EHU,Fresh/Grey Water/Chemical waste and re-cycling. In the two fields opposite were a beautiful grey horse and 2 Mac Moos (Highland Cattle). Only slight comment is that there was no interaction with the owners at all. It would have been nice to have just said "hello". However, the site and location exceeded our expectations and we had a full-on, enjoyable week at Bogroy Croft. Chris & Carolyn
