We were bitterly disappointed when we arrived at the CL we had chosen and booked ahead. It was very scruffy, and surprisingly, over-booked with what I very much doubt were touring caravans. No way could have stayed there. Mr Astley came to the rescue when we phoned to ask if he could fit us in at very short notice. We were warmly welcomed. What a contrast!! A tidy, well maintained site with excellent facilities and a grand view over fields to the river. A proper CL, run by Mr Astley in the true spirit of the club. Thank you, we will recommend you and hopefully return.
