I was looking for a campsite within an hours drive from home to go away for a night for my partners birthday and looked at Caravan Club as well as others. I chose this one as it had a pub/restaurant on site. When I telephoned to book I double checked that toilets were accessible all the times as researching a lot of sites at pubs some toilets are only open during pub hours. We turned up on a wet and windy afternoon but couldn't have received a warmer welcome. The pub was closed when we arrived so we went into the signposted pub side door were we was greeted by the owner. We set up and awaited our meal we had booked for that evening. There was a fantastic selection on the menu, almost everything one the menu we liked and the food didn't disappoint. We have only stayed at a couple of CL sites but it was lovely going to the loo and having a shower in the central heated pub building. This is a gem of a little site with everything you could wish for, they a motor home owners themselves so know firsthand what you need. A great little find and only just over an hour from us we will be back in the summer.
