Had to extend our stay - excellent

Easy to find A470 from M4 at Cardiff past beautiful reservoirs (with walks) drop down from peak and turning is on right just before first signpost for a turning on the left (Hoel Senni). Access on single track lane is no problem (we have large long outfit with 8 ft caravan). Views at far end of CL a little restricted by trees but otherwise unbeatable. We did not find water tap a problem - very good pressure! The track leads back up to the access via Storey Arms to Pen Y Fan but this is a good uphill walk so we drove back on the A470 and parked at Storey Arms no problem. There are 2 interesting drives to Waterfall Country one is the A465 from by the top reservoir on the A470 but a really good one with hairpin bends and a lovely stop by a stream is to go across the road onto the A4215 signposted Heol Senni and Senny bridge, follow the signs for Heol Senni and then Ystradfeltte, most of the Waterfalls are between here and Pontnedfechan, We thought the best ones were from behind The Angel in Pontnedfechan village, All of the waterfalls involve walks but this is probably easiest with really good waterfalls. There are also quite a few visitors centres in the area around the CL with good walks from there, one good one is to Twyn Y Gaer an Iron Age Hill Fort with lovely views over the River Usk Valley. All in all a lovely CL with very friendly owners and loads to do in the area!
