Love this little CL. Been here a few times and keep coming back. Views are incredible to Col Mor and Suilven. In the heart of Assynt with good access to both Ullapool and Lochinver. Walks from the site. Fishing just down the road. Sunsets to die for. Lots to do. This visit, filling my water barrel I turned to see two White Tailed Eagles circling the valley at same height, just 75 yards away. Not bothered that the toilet isn’t much cop - we use our on-board facilities. Access looks tighter than it is - no problem for our 24’ van and Land Rover. And yes the toilet empty is rudimentary but this site’s positives easily outweigh the negatives. And if you want manicured facilities then dare I suggest you’re in the wrong area. Owners are friendly and welcoming. We’ll keep coming back.
