We had a lovely week at the truly delightful Birch Hill CL site just after Easter. . The site is situated down a quiet lane 1 mile (20 min walk along road/on pavement) from the centre of Ellesmere, with its beautiful mere and parkland. The information provided following our booking and prior to our arrival was the best and most comprehensive we have ever had. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Ian who was very personable and knowledgeable. He gave us a quick tour and told us about this very well kept site and we were advised of many of the best places to shop/eat/visit in Ellesmere and the surrounding area. Ian provided us with a super information pack including maps of of local areas & local walks from the site, which we found very useful. It was our first time visiting this CL site and Ellesmere and we will definitely be returning in the future as both the site itself and the area were excellent . Keep up the good work!
