I can't really add more to what has already been said in the other reviews other than to totally agree with them. Bengate Farm is in a great location and is a short drive to Hellefield Railway Station where you can get a train and go for a ride on the Settle to Carlisle line. We went as far as Appleby had a wonder around and something for lunch the got the train back. Not a lot to see at Appleby. Great views from the site which is tucked down a lane just past the farm. The owners made us very welcome. My only gripe is that it is a bit awkward getting out onto the main road. I had to get my wife to stand on the other side of the road to see me out. A convex mirror would be most handy opposite the exit. A fabulous site and one that we will be returning to.
