Great little CL - very helpful owners. We had to cancel our first night due to adverse weather, but the owners were very understanding and even rang us to let us know the weather conditions on the CL. The site is quite spacious, with a couple of hardstandings as well as grass pitches. Is a working stable business so plenty of horses to look at in the adjacent fields. Easy access and a doddle to find - but watch for the turn off as the signpost to Piper's Ash is on the wrong side of the road and you might miss it! Bus stop to Chester 10 min walk away but we used the park and ride nearby. £2 return into Chester centre. Chester itself was lovely, well worth the visit. Recommend the Military Museum and the Grosvenor Museum, not to mention walking the City Walls. Hoping to visit again in better weather to make use of the many cycle routes in the area. Only 3 mile ride into Chester centre plus many canal ways to ride alongside. Lovely site - well worth a visit.
