What a lovely slice of England!

This is a garden site with an obvious sense of care. Even after a night of torrential rain the lawn was well drained by sunrise. It is a large field with the 5 well-spaced pitches, away from the roadside, and surrounded by hedging that shields guests from view of A56 traffic and helps reduce the noise, which for us presented no problems. There are the usual waste and water facilities but additionally the exclusive use of a shower (20p for 3 minutes) ensuite room, a separate washing up sink (with H/C water) and a second loo. Electricity (10A) is metered and read at the end of your stay - we managed less than £2 per day. The bus stop is about 200m from the entrance with hourly service to/from Chester famous for 'The Rows' shopping streets, Roman wall circumnavigation, cathedral and River Dee. We also visited Delamere Forest (FC), Beeston Castle (EH) and on one drizzly day exercised our flexible friend at Cheshire Oaks Shopping Village! Recommended for the warm welcome and high standard roomy pitch. Thank you Terry and Jean.
