Peace and tranquillity
This site has to be the best we have stayed at. We stayed 4 nights. If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet site this one is perfect. The views across the fields, just reaching the rooftops in Coldingham, and to the sea beyond is a wonderful sight. We received a very warm welcome from Al, happy to provide any assistance and local knowledge we required. The site is immaculate. Positioned slightly uphill enabling the gorgeous views. The hardstanding pitches are level with a grassed area on the side for the awning.
It's a 20min stroll into the village of
Coldingham and the bus stop which takes you to St Abbs/ Eyemouth/ Berwick. (part of the route to the village is unpaved but there is little traffic). The pretty village is interesting with a couple of lovely pubs and a butcher and mini supermarket. The streets are very narrow through the village. A great location for exploring this part of the Borders.
