Beautiful views

Just returned from staying at this lovely working farm CL site, beautiful views, spotlessly clean and tidy with water and drainage on tap (excuse the pun) to each pitch with free Wi-Fi thrown in for good measure. Occasional noise from working vehicles does not detract from the beauty of this site. A friendly & helpful owner happy to give tips on the area if needed. Accessible good walking opportunities via coastal path or woodland. Definitely one to re-visit.

What a view!

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week holiday at Bee Edge, very easy access into the site, pitches are on a slight slope, all facing seawards to the fantastic view. Al made us very welcome, he keeps the fully serviced site very neat and tidy, and he even gave us a weather warning by text when we had a very windy day! There’s plenty to see and do in the area and it’s very easy to get about as the A1 is not far away. We look forward to returning in the future!

What a superb cl

We didn’t know what to expect when we booked this CL, but what a little gem. The view over the bay is spectacular and so convenient for the A1. Each pitch has its own water, electric and grey water disposal point, we will be back.

3rd Visit

Last Weekend was our first visit of the year to Sunny Scotland and our 3rd visit to this amazing site. A welcome email with info was received a week before, followed by a welcome text when we arrived. Access to the site is so easy and the first thing you see are the stunning views. We walked from Coldingham Bay to St Abbs, Coldingham Bay to Eyemouth, Cove to Pease Bay, around the woodland and country lanes, around Coldingham Priory, finishing with a stroll around Coldingham Bay. The gorse and bluebells were blooming and we saw plenty of wildlife. We will definitely return.

Wonderful CL

Cannot praise this CL highly enough. Easy access just off A1 but far enough away, entrance is a tarmac drive straight onto CL with 5 very large hardstanding pitches with own EHU, fresh water tap and grey waste drainage. Wonderful views across countryside to sea. Everything spotlessly clean, recycling available and electric car charging. Warmly welcomed by Al who gave us all the information needed for our stay. Enclosed small dog exercise area, but were informed fields were available as long as there was no livestock in them, a very good woodland walk 10 meters from entrance and Coldingham walkable with 2 pubs, Spar and butchers. We will definitely be returning a soon as possible.

Fabulous CL with Fabulous Views

We stayed on this CL over the Easter holidays and cannot recommend it more highly. The booking system worked really well and we found it very easy to use. With regular email updates from the team, again our arrival went very smoothly with no fuss. The CL itself is very nice, it has all of the requirements of a CL, but with your own water tap and grey waste disposable point on your pitch which certainly makes things a lot easier. The views over the farm land to the sea are fantastic, however we had sea mist during our visit. The CL is very clean and well kept! There is a little bit of farm traffic backwards and forwards on the farm access road behind the CL, and a little bit of road noise from the road past the CL down to Coldingham, but that is to be expected staying on a farm. The dog area is a fantastic idea, and our two dogs loved the area to run around in. We found the experience of Bee Edge a very good one, and I would certainly return.

Lovely CL

I concur with all of the other reviews of this site. Apart from the weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bee Edge. The site is well laid out and well kept, with a fantastic sea view (when the skies were clear). Al was very helpful & welcoming. We would certainly visit this CL again.

Great CL site in wonderful location

I concur with all the positive feedback that other reviewers have given. A lot of thought has gone into the design of this site. Little extras, like the drive over grey waste point and laminated instructions for taking with you on walks. Dedicated dog exercise area. Stone clippings are well laid and the type that don’t carry into the van. The site is high and exposed which gives great views of the coast (1 mile approx) but is therefore subject to windy weather. We greatly enjoyed a few sunny blustery days and sub-zero nights. Owners have planted new hedges round each pitch so bodes well for the future. We plan to return,… soon.

A great CL in a beautiful spot and so very well maintained.

We originally booked this CL for 2 nights at the beginning of half term. Alistair (Al) the site owner contacted us to pre-warn us of adverse weather ( storm Eunice) and very kindly moved us to the following weekend. The site is so very well maintained and provides hardstanding space far more than is normally found on sites never mind CL's Each space has its own water supply and grey waste disposal along with HU. The views of the surrounding countryside and coast are absolutely beautiful and the walk to the village on a pleasant sunny morning in February was a nice 15 minute stroll. I am so pleased we came here as we will definitely be back - its a lovely place and a credit to its owners.

Great site close to Coldingham and St Abb’s

Lovely spot, great sea views, well laid out and well maintained. More than merits its 5* reviews. The website info is honest and accurate. Look at it before arrival as it includes WiFi code and how to connect the electricity supply. EHU,fresh water and WiFi on every pitch. At the entrance is chemical toilet waste disposal, grey water waste, recycling and general waste bins, and even an EV charging point (7kW charger, honesty charge of 20p/kWh)! All well looked after, well kept. Within easy reach of Eyemouth, Berwick and Dunbar. Nearby is St Abb’s National Trust for Scotland Nature Reserve and the villages of St Abb’s, Coldingham and Coldingham Bay, with lovely walks on the edge of farmland, with marvellous sea cliffs and quiet beaches. It was a pleasure to stay there for a rather driech weekend in Feb, but we got out into the wilds and had a great stay. Thanks to Al and his efficient generously provided setup.
