Well located CL and lovely owners

The site is well located for days out, pubs, towns, canals, cycling, and walking. It is accessed via a fairly narrow driveway, take it slowly though and you will be fine. You then have to drive over a field to the CL itself. Despite some torrential downpours, this field stayed firm. The spacing of units can be a bit haphazard as the EHU are not evenly spaced, meaning some units didn’t really consider how their pitching affected others and ended up with a pitch and half and everyone else was squashed into much smaller spaces and a bit on top of each other. A simple and easy solution would be pitch markers, or just leaving a small strip of long grass to denote the edges of each pitch. The site looks out toward Beeston Castle and it gets the sun for most of the day. We did suffer with a bit of late night/early morning noise from the farm not far behind the site, but this did only happen during the week, not at the weekend. There are two taps at the bottom of the site, along with elsan point bins and recycling bins. Grey waste can be piped into the field margins/ditch. The owners Clive, Jill and family are very friendly and Clive loves to chat (many a time he was called back to the house for his supper lol). He is a font of local knowledge and will give you advice on all the best places to go. Overall, a really nice site and great owners that just needs a tiny little tweak to pitch marking to make it spot on.
