Can't fault this one
Owner contacted us before arrival with barrier access and toilet / shower access codes because she would be out for the day. She called to see us later.
The site is wonderful with hard standings large enough for a car, caravan and an awning, water supply, waste water drain and electric hook up for every pitch. The toilets and showers are superb and kept very clean and tidy. An information room with loads of local interest and other information available. The owner is a club member and very helpful as well.
An excellent dog walk complete with 4 "poo bins" is provided and, if the weather is warm, each pitch even has a garden table provided on a communal area in front of the pitches. The CL is very quiet and rural with plenty of bird song and sightings.
Site security is maintained by 24 hr cctv, a barrier and a main gate which is shut at night.
There are a number of places of interest around and there are pubs / restaurants not too far away. However there is also a local fish and chips and a Chinese take-away who will deliver to your caravan.
There is plenty of walking near the CL but if you want to go out and about you will need your own transport.
To sum up - visit this CL if you want comfort, peace and quiet, you won't be disappointed.
