we wanted somewhere not too far from home to try our new folding camper setup, we would normally stay at poolsbrook, but price was £83 for 2 nights, then found this CL site close by for just £40 for 2 nights including EHU, communication was great prior to arriving, very welcoming on site too, we were allowed to choose our pitch as well. the site is located within the golf club grounds just on the edge, and you overlook the greens and a lake area, there is a toilet for use if needed, albeit could do with some tlc and improvement to it. fresh water and chemical waste point provided. It can be a little busy during the day with cars coming and going for the golf club but it didnt bother us or effect our stay at all, once evening comes its very quiet and relaxing with no one about at all. there is a dobbies garden centre 2 min walk away, and a small supermarket within the shopping centre, ideal for anything you need. the site is about 5 mins from the M1 so very easy access. the owners were leaving one day while we were sat out in the sunshine, and they stopped and came to say hello, which was nice too. if your looking for a stop over on route, or just a nice quiet relaxing place to spend a few days chilling, then this is ideal and great value too.
